Any prospective helicopter pilot going for a private or commercial rating. This prep uses the Airmen Certification Standards which is the grading rubric that a DPE (Designated Pilot Examiner) will use during your oral questioning.
We use scientifically proven methods to keep the student’s attention in our lesson plans and also plan to implement flash cards.
Flash cards are one of the best methods because the Checkride Oral is not a multiple choice exam, it requires the student to be able to remember information and verbally convey it to the DPE.This is a self study course, but it guides you into focusing what you need to know for your oral exam. The flash card section will allow you to identify your weak areas so you can hone in on them when studying.

Of course, it is actually recomended because many CFIs miss certain topics or avoid doing ground lessons with their students due to chasing flight hours.
For the low monthly cost, this can greatly supplement doing ground instruction with a school or individual CFI. Most instructors start at a rate of $65/hr for ground instruction. This course can be studied at any time and on your desktop, laptop, or mobile device.

This is something we are actively working to implement in the future.
